Euskaltel-Euskadi
Sponsored by Euskaltel, a Basque telecom company, Euskaltel-Euskadi prides itself as being the unofficial Basque national team. No surprise when you consider the team is partly funded by the Basque government. In fact, its riders, famous for their orange uniforms, are either Basque or at least have grown up in the Basque cycling culture. The team had an impressive 2007 with an overall second place finish at the Vuelta a España with riders finishing in second and eighth. The Tour de France also gave them an overall fifth place in the team standings.
