With a wealth of experienced, rising stars, a lot of people believe Saunier Duval will be among the most powerful teams in 2008. The relatively new Spanish team, sponsored by Saunier Duval (manufacturers of water heaters, heating and air conditioning systems) and Prodir (makers of promotional pens), had an extremely successful 2007. Impressive stage wins included Tirreno-Adriatico, Giro d'Italia and Vuelta al País Vasco, with an overall win in this event.
